As an RN First Assist, you will play a crucial role in the operating room, providing assistance during surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the surgical site, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring patient safety throughout the operation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with a skilled surgical team. The role demands experience and proficiency with Epic and Cerner systems, along with a commitment to high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Current Professional Liability Insurance required
• AHA BLS required
• CA RN License required
• AHA PALS preferred
• Three years scrub and circulate experience in acute care facility required
• Annual surgeon review required
• Minimum 6 months of EPIC experience within last 12 months
• AHA ACLS required
• Cerner experience also required
• Certification of completion of approved RNFA course required
• Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) required
