Position Summary The paint prep position prepares products for painting and repairs minor imperfections. This is a 2nd shift position which includes a 10% shift differential. Essential Functions Sands product exterior in preparation of painting. Tapes/masks products for painting. Reworks products with nonconforming paint issues. May perform some simple repair/prep procedures such as putty work or touch up painting. Inspect finished work, completing any associated forms/checklists. Stages products for next workstation. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Other tasks as assigned. Education and Experience HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience. Ability to understand and communicate in English.
