This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business better than they know it and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to a managing a Federal Acquisitions (Procurement) support contract.Duties and Responsibilities: Managing clientso Building a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectiveso Managing day-to-day client interactiono Setting and managing client expectationso Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.o Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.Achieving operational objectives and contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviewsImplementing productivity and quality standards.Providing technical direction and guidance to contractor staff to ensure Contract requirements and expectations are clear, success criteria are defined, progress toward results are monitored, and that all activities are performed in compliance with the terms of the ContractIdentifying risks and appropriate mitigation strategiesMeeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actionsManaging a multi-tiered project and/or multiple projects simultaneouslyRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Education, Management Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources Development/ Management, or other related discipline or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.10+ total years' experience5+ years program management experienceAt least 5 years of experience supporting Federal Acquisitions projects(Procurements)Desired Qualifications:FAC-C or similar Federal Acquisitions CertificationPrevious experience supporting DHS (Headquarters or Component Agencies)SALARY RANGE: $140K - $160K (subject to change)ELIGIBLE FOR PERFORMANCE BASE BONUSChevo offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid leave, observes all 11 federal government holidays, 401Kplan withmatching, monthly SMART card employer contribution for commuting expenses, tuition assistance and more!
