Picture your day beginning with a call from a coatings plant manager who needs to boost throughput and reduce waste. You listen, ask pointed questions, and map out a solution that might blend a solvent recovery system with a new media mill. By mid-morning you’re teaming up with engineering to fine-tune specs; after lunch you’re nurturing a dormant account that just resurfaced through a warm referral. You wrap the day updating the CRM with next steps and preparing a custom proposal with pricing that reflects real-world process constraints. That’s a typical day as the face of a fourth-generation, family-owned manufacturer with 130+ years of trust in the process equipment industry.

About the Role

Represent a respected industrial OEM and sell custom process equipment solutions across North America. Your portfolio includes solvent recovery systems, media mills, tank and tote washers, mixing systems, and other engineered equipment serving the coatings, paint, chemical, and broader industrial manufacturing markets.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Strengthen long-standing relationships while developing net-new business from warm inbound leads, referrals, and reactivated accounts
• Uncover customer process bottlenecks and recommend tailored equipment solutions
• Cultivate credibility with Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, Process Engineers, and Operations Leaders
• Develop comprehensive proposals and pricing for custom machinery and systems
• Track pipeline health and activity via CRM tools; follow up consistently
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to design solutions that meet technical and commercial needs
• Travel up to 25% across North America—primarily day trips or short trips of three days or less

Your Onboarding

In your first several months, you’ll work side-by-side with a retiring team member to learn products, customers, the sales process, and the technical nuances that make our solutions stand out.

What You Bring

• 2–3+ years in customer service, technical sales, inside sales, account management, business development, applications engineering, or a related manufacturing environment
• Background with technical products: OEM or industrial equipment, custom machinery, engineered solutions, or process systems
• Curiosity and a problem-solver’s mindset
• Persistence to navigate 6–12 month sales cycles
• Ease working with hands-on, blue-collar teams and industrial decision-makers
• Self-motivated, personable, and diligent with follow-up

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; ERP/quoting and CRM experience.

Open backgrounds: Customer Service Representatives and Inside Sales professionals from manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Bonus exposure: Chemistry, engineering, coatings, paint, chemical processing, pigment grinding, solvent recovery, or other process-driven OEM equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $65,000 + commission & quarterly bonus
• Year 1 OTE: $65K–$75K; Year 2 OTE: $80K–$95K
• Holiday bonus; 9 paid holidays
• 5% 401(k) match
• Full benefits upon conversion
