Urologist

Qualifications: BC or BE Urology SC Medical License CSR DEA that can remain permanently registered in the state of SC Assignment Details: Locum will act as a true Uro-Hospitalist, and do strictly inpatient coverage. Typical day will include 24-hour call, rounding, answering consults, handling any urgent/emergent cases that come in through the ED as needed, and operating as needed as well Candidate MUST be comfortable with OPEN trauma cases, including but not limited to stab wounds and gun shot wounds that involve the kidneys or testicles, bladder repair, etc. Candidate MUST also be comfortable with standard Urologic Procedures including stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (peds included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc. Candidate must also be comfortable being the sole Urologist on site MRMC is a level 2 trauma center that has just shy of 600 beds MRMC is a very busy and fast paced facility candidates sent for consideration should be fully comfortable with this EMR = EPIC Current Open Dates: December 24 6a January 4 6a
