Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a high-volume, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist during various cath lab and EP procedures, including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and complex PCI.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment such as GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, and Merge Hemo documentation systems.
• Monitor patient vitals and procedural responses, ensuring patient safety throughout all interventions.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure procedural efficiency and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Possess minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology lab setting.
• Hold RCIS, RCES, RT(R), or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cath lab and EP lab procedures and equipment.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess valid RN or technologist licensure as applicable.
