Counselor II - $2,000 Sign On Bonus

Abraxas Youth and Family Services - Woodridge Interventions 2221 64th Street, Woodridge, IL 60517 $26.00 - $31.00/hour WITH a $2,000 sign-on bonus, if eligible What You’ll Do As a Counselor, in conjunction with supervisor and treatment team, you will provide chemical dependency counseling services to patients and their families/collaterals through assessment and design, implementation, and revision of treatment plan. You will also provide group and individual counseling, community support, case coordination and crisis intervention services to clients with a primary substance use disorder diagnosis. Responsibilities Complete assessment of each client Initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment Develop a comprehensive service plan for each client Provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups Qualifications Required: Current licensure - LSW, LPC or CADC Two (2) years’ experience working with substance abuse. Preferred. Two (2) years of counseling experience.
