In this role, you'll help deliver innovative rail bridge solutions, contribute to the rehabilitation and design of critical infrastructure, and collaborate with talented professionals on projects that shape the future of transportation.What You'll Do:Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for bridge infrastructureProvide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in various areas of bridge and transportation engineering, such as bridge design and accelerated bridge construction (ABC)Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutionsDevelop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraintsGuide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and supportDeliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agenciesWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Tackle some of the industry's most complex rail bridge challenges with a nationally recognized transportation teamDrive technical excellence on critical infrastructure projects that enhance safety, reliability, and system performanceServe as a trusted advisor and mentor, shaping project outcomes and supporting the growth of future engineering talentCurious about the impactful work our Bridge team is doing?
