Position Overview

MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic imaging department. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform a range of nuclear medicine scans, including SPECT and PET imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Document procedures and manage patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification is required.
• Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Illinois.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
