Allergy Mixer - PRN - Experience Required

Eddy Street, South Bend, IN 46617 Hours : PRN position requiring a minimum of 1 shift per month, in addition to PTO coverage averaging approximately 6 weeks per year. Responsibilities Prepare and mix allergy immunotherapy vials in accordance with provider orders and established safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and labeling of allergy extracts and patient-specific mixtures. Ensure compliance with infection control, storage, handling, and quality assurance standards. Monitor inventory and supplies related to allergy mixing and notify leadership of replenishment needs. Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and clinic operations. Adhere to all applicable regulatory, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Current licensure/certification as one of the following: Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Prior allergy mixing or sterile/clinical compounding experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment. Knowledge of safety, infection control, and documentation standards related to medication or extract preparation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
