You’re more valuable than ever – And that’s just how we’ll make you feel.Job DescriptionDepartment: Clinical Services: ProviderEntity: Team members affiliated with Joint VenturesJob RelationshipsResponsible to: Medical Director, Associate Medical DirectorAssignments received from: Medical Director, Associate Medical DirectorPositions supervised: NoneJob SummaryPhysicians independently perform a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections and are also responsible for selecting and utilizing appropriate diagnostics and/or therapeutic procedures for patients.Job RequirementsEducationGraduate of an accredited medical school requiredWork Experience2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience requiredMinimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting requiredAdult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferredRequired Licenses/CertificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency MedicineActive state medical licensureAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredExperience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine settingApplicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities PreferredKnowledge and experience with Electronic Medical RecordsAbility to be attentive with strong listening skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsEssential FunctionsEssential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives.
