Senior Project Controller - Columbia, MD

Responsibilities Direct end-to-end project controlling, acting as the financial advisor to project leaders and liaison to Finance teams throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project budgeting, consolidated forecasting, variance analysis, and executive financial reporting. Manage ongoing cost forecasting, partnering with project teams to project future expenses and estimate total cost at completion. Oversee project cash flow, including milestone tracking, funding level management, and timely customer invoicing. Review project milestones and assess financial impacts of key program decisions. Identify commercial risks and financial opportunities, driving continuous improvements in controlling processes. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory requirements, supporting internal and external audits. Analyze financial impacts of scope or contract changes, providing data-driven insights during commercial negotiations. Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to support executive decision-making and cost optimization. Support implementation and enhancement of project tracking and financial control systems.
