The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law and located in Washington

Key Responsibilities

As a Conflicts Attorney, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex conflicts issues across the firm's global practice. Responsibilities include:

Advising partners, attorneys, and the conflicts team on the identification, analysis, and resolution of potential conflicts of interest

Supervising the workflow and professional development of at least two Compliance Analysts

Collaborating with attorneys and firm leadership to address conflicts and risk issues related to:

• New matter intake
• Lateral attorney hiring
• Business development initiatives
• Practice growth opportunities

Managing an active docket of approximately 15 to 30 conflict matters at any given time

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in Washington.

Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law

Strong working knowledge of U.S. conflicts of interest rules and legal ethics principles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working effectively within a multicultural, collaborative environment

Ability to build relationships and communicate confidently with professionals at all levels of a law firm
