Role Description The Missile Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining missile components and systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and safety. Day-to-day activities include creating and reviewing detailed engineering drawings, performing design calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using CAD tools to model mechanical and electrical aspects of missile systems. Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Design Engineering for complex systems.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles as they apply to integrated missile systems.
- Experience in Product Design, including concept development, prototyping, and iteration based on test results.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and test data, and translate them into design improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work on-site in El Paso, TX.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or related high-reliability industries is beneficial.
