Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a structured, self-contained special education environment designed to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs. This full-time, contract position will run from August 3rd through May 21, 2027, located onsite near Glendale, AZ. You'll be working directly with students in behavior-focused classrooms, particularly those with autism and those requiring intensive support, helping them develop essential self-regulatory and prosocial skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Secondary Teaching License, K-12 Special Education Certificate, and valid IVP fingerprint card (required)
• Prior experience working in self-contained classrooms, especially with students who have emotional disabilities or multiple eligibility areas
• Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to the unique needs of at-risk, exceptional, and limited English proficient students
• Training in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.), or willingness to attend staff development
• Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district standards
