Senior Software Developer (Cloud Experience) | Finance Industry
Company Investment management firm that develops technology-driven solutions to support investment and trading operations. It works in a highly collaborative environment where technology, data, and business teams partner closely to solve complex challenges. The organization invests heavily in modern software engineering practices and scalable platforms that support the business. Responsibilities- Build and enhance scalable software platforms leveraging microservices, real-time messaging, and event-driven architecture.
- Partner with engineers, technical leadership, and business teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions.
- Develop and implement robust applications using Python and/or C#, following modern software design patterns and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, CI/CD processes, and containerized deployment strategies.
- Promote engineering excellence by helping establish technical standards, best practices, and architectural direction across teams.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python and/or C#.
- Experience building cloud-based applications within AWS
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of event-driven systems, messaging architectures, and distributed applications.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving ability, and passion for building scalable enterprise technology solutions
- Work Environment: Hybrid in Boston (1-3 days/week)
- Compensation: $180k - $190k + Benefits
