This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Products & Platform - AI/Security based in the United States.

This is a high-impact executive leadership role responsible for defining and scaling the core platform that powers a global cybersecurity product ecosystem. You will shape the architecture, strategy, and evolution of a unified file security platform that underpins multiple enterprise-grade solutions used in highly regulated environments worldwide. The role combines deep technical ownership with product vision, requiring you to drive platform standardization, adoption, and innovation across multiple engineering teams. You will also lead the transformation toward an AI-first operating model, embedding agentic capabilities into both the platform and internal ways of working. Acting at the intersection of product, engineering, and enterprise strategy, you will influence how critical infrastructure security is defined and delivered. Accountabilities

• Define and own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and evolution of a unified file security and enterprise platform spanning multiple products and services.
• Drive the vision for next-generation file security, including multi-engine orchestration, deep content inspection, and expanding threat surface coverage across modern file types and systems.
• Lead the development of shared enterprise services such as identity, deployment, observability, policy, and compliance frameworks to enable scalable adoption across product teams.
• Establish and promote platform standards, ensuring consistent, secure, and high-performance enterprise-grade capabilities across distributed systems.
• Champion AI-first transformation by embedding agentic capabilities into platform services, operations, and internal engineering workflows.
• Guide platform adoption across engineering teams by building trust, driving internal alignment, and demonstrating measurable value through execution.
• Partner with executive leadership and product stakeholders to shape category strategy, platform monetization, and long-term business direction.

Requirements

This role requires deep experience leading platform engineering or infrastructure product organizations at scale, ideally within enterprise or security-focused environments. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency across distributed systems, cloud and on-prem architectures, Kubernetes, and enterprise deployment models including air-gapped environments. You should have extensive experience building platforms adopted across multiple product lines, with a proven ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment. Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts such as SSO, RBAC, multi-tenancy, and auditability is essential. Experience with file security domains (such as content inspection, malware detection, or related technologies) is highly valuable. AI-first leadership experience is critical, including familiarity with LLM systems, agentic architectures, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop design. You should also bring strong business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical systems into executive-level strategy.

• 15+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or developer platform product leadership
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles owning platform strategy and execution
• Deep experience with enterprise software deployed across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven success driving platform adoption across multiple engineering or product teams
• Experience designing enterprise-grade systems with security, compliance, and scalability requirements
• AI/ML and agentic system experience, including LLM-based architectures and evaluation frameworks
• Strong strategic communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing skills
