Budget Analyst, JuniorBAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Budget Analyst, Junior with less than three years of experience, for our expanding workforce to support analysis of budget and accounting reports, at Contractor and Government site(s) in Patuxent River, MD, and Norfolk, VA. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.ResponsibilitiesExamine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulationsAnalyze budgeting and accounting reportsQualificationsLess than three years' experience performing duties described in the functional descriptionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informalAbility to perform all functional duties independently, self-starterWorking knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePointDegree: BA/BS degree.Allowable Substitution: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
