Site Civil Engineer Intern (Fall 2026) Woolpert, Inc. is a cutting‑edge national architecture, engineering and geospatial (AEG) firm that delivers value to clients by blending site and architectural design excellence with innovative technology and geospatial applications. This position will involve 40 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester and is available at one of several locations: Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Fairview Heights, IL; or Miami, FL. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located. Woolpert does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. What You Will Do Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs. Apply hydrology and stormwater management knowledge to site projects. Prioritize workflow, multitask, and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Collaborate with the project management team to identify impediments and develop solutions. Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports. Execute other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring Enrollment or recent graduation in a BS program in Civil Engineering. Zero to two years of related experience. Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D. Preferred experience in hydraulics and hydrology. Workfare occasionally in the field, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.
