HR Consultant - Intern/Co-op Conversion

Solve complex problems in human resource areas of specialization with general supervision Apply fundamental HR consulting concepts and procedures to fairly complex and varied work Develop advanced skills and work with greater independence Analyze complex HR issues, develop logical conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations Prioritize multiple tasks and negotiate diverse customer expectations Present information and facilitate large and small groups Travel to other locations as required Requirements Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant major and 1 year of experience Duke Energy internship or co-op experience Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and negotiate diverse customer expectations Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to facilitate large and small groups A relevant master’s degree can be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future Travel requirements: 5–15% Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills in human resources, with the ability to effectively communicate and facilitate discussions across various employee levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing multiple tasks while meeting diverse customer expectations.
