Maintenance mechanic

Join our plant operations team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. We are looking for a reliable, technical problem-solver to ensure the seamless operation of our automated concrete paving stone manufacturing machinery, batching plants, conveyors, and packaging lines. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and maintaining high production standards. Great culture and pay ($35/hr+)

salary: $72,800 - $83,200 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform mechanical repairs on production machinery, concrete batch mixers, belt conveyors, hydraulic presses, and automated packaging equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, including lubrication, component replacement, belt tensioning, and gearbox overhauls.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits, pneumatic cylinders, pumps, valves, and mechanical drive systems.
• Assist in mechanical assembly, machine installations, and plant automation upgrades.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment schematics.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA, and plant safety protocols.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
