Total Store Sanitation Representative

As a Total Store Sanitation Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome. Key responsibilities include sanitation and maintenance tasks such as maintaining floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms. You will also ensure the fulfillment of department hand wash sinks, clean and pick up trash and debris, and use H-E-B chemical program to maintain stock in the maintenance room. Additionally, you will empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the store and each department, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are achieved by following SOPs. You will communicate maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to store leaders and work with customers, assisting them in the location of products and performing all duties of a Customer Service Assistant when needed.

Qualifications include being 18 years or older, possessing knowledge of OSHA guidelines, sack skills, and the ability to take initiative and prioritize competing tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with completion of company orientation, in-store orientation, basics of safety, annual food handler, and basic HAZMAT/chemical safety certifications. The role requires constant walking, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling with arms, and frequent bending. Occasional sitting, standing, reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, pivoting, twisting, pinching, and performing fine motor movements are also required. The ability to lift 50 lbs and manage in excess of 50 lbs is necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
