Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: 12H Night shifts; every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements:

• BLS/ACLS certification (AHA)
• MA nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency nursing
• Epic experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• PALS or ENPC certification (equivalency)
• TNCC certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department with various medical emergencies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately using electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have been separated from the previous organization for 6 months to be eligible for this position.
• Excessive time off will not be considered, especially around the holidays.
