Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU, Travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role is in a Medical Intermediate Care Unit that blends medical-telemetry and step-down care. Start date 09/07/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,385–$2,494 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. The position is travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient, acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level nursing care within a Medical Intermediate Care Unit, including monitoring patients on telemetry, ventilators, tracheostomies, and high-flow oxygen.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips, assess and respond to clinical changes, and support emergent situations per protocol.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; participate in rounds; document patient status and plan of care in the EHR.
- Float to med-telemetry and IMC units as needed; maintain clinical competencies for a mixed medical-surgical population.
- Ensure patient and family education, safety, and infection control practices; adhere to ACLS and BLS standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts.
- Massachusetts placement agency license and Massachusetts temporary nursing service agency license required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- 1–2 years of ICU/IMC experience preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomies, ventilation support, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and float to related units as needed.
- Must reside outside a 90-mile radius from the assignment location.
