Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts (Primarily Nights) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU
• Manage and monitor laboring patients, inductions, and high-risk antepartum cases in a fast-paced environment averaging up to 14 patients including inductions
• Perform OB triage assessments for third-trimester testing patients and incoming triage volume
• Serve in or train toward a charge nurse role as needed by the unit
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing demands
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission; license must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience in high-risk OB or Level II or higher trauma settings
• Familiarity with high-volume triage and antepartum patient populations
