Order Processing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Customer Order Processing Associate (Contract-to-Hire) to join a growing manufacturing team in Matthews, NC. This is a fully onsite position supporting high-volume order entry, customer support, and import/export coordination.This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely order processing while delivering a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple systems, handling a high volume of communication, and coordinating with internal and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide world-class customer service to customers, distributors, and internal teamsReceive and process unit and parts orders based on quoted informationAccurately enter and validate orders within internal systemsCoordinate shipment specifications with freight carriers and forwardersManage routing of domestic and international shipments (ground, air, import/export)Initiate pickups and deliveries with authorized agents and logistics partnersPrepare and process shipping documentation, including commercial and customs/regulatory documentsTroubleshoot and resolve shipment issues or discrepanciesCommunicate order status, shipment updates, and issues via high-volume phone and email activityPartner with Sales, Manufacturing, and external teams to ensure timely deliveryMaintain compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and government regulationsSupport additional administrative and operational tasks as neededQualificationsExperience in customer service, order processing, or logistics coordinationExposure to import/export processes, freight forwarding, or shipping documentation preferredStrong data entry skills with high attention to detailComfortable working in multiple systems (ERP/CRM experience preferred)Ability to manage high-volume calls and emails in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectivelyAdditional DetailsLocation: Matthews, NC (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract-to-HireSchedule: Full-time
