Our award-winning client is seeking an Legal Assistant to join their team.Our esteemed law firm is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our litigation team in New Orleans. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to a group of attorneys. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of legal procedures.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently creating, formatting, and managing legal documents using advanced software.
Coordinating case-related tasks such as e-filing, calendar management, and file organization.
Handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and providing general office assistance.
Assisting with timekeeping, billing, and expense reporting.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant coursework preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of litigation support experience in a law firm.
Proficiency in legal software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
