Be the vital link between kitchen and dining room to keep service flowing smoothly

About Dockside Restaurant:
Dockside offers delicious lakeside dining at Coeur d'Alene Resort, featuring fresh seafood, steaks, and stunning views. We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Expeditor to ensure timely, accurate delivery of meals to our guests.

The Role:
As a Food Expeditor, you will coordinate between kitchen staff and servers, making sure every dish is perfect and delivered promptly to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prioritize food orders coming from the kitchen

  • Check dishes for presentation, accuracy, and quality before service

  • Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth delivery

  • Relay special requests and modifications to the kitchen accurately

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the expediting area

  • Assist with maintaining a smooth flow during busy service times

Benefits & Compensation

Wage: $11 + tips

Daily Perks:

  • Employee meals

  • Free parking

  • Uniforms provided with in-house laundry service

  • 20% discount at all resort restaurants

Health & Wellness:

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (available to full-time employees after 60 days)

  • Access to an on-site clinic exclusive to resort employees with benefit coverage

  • Flexible reimbursement plan

Retirement:

  • 401(k) plan with 50% match up to 4% contribution (eligibility begins at age 21 after 60 days of employment)

Paid Time Off:

  • After 6 months: 7 days

  • After 1 year: 10 days

  • After 2–4 years: 15 days

  • After 5+ years: 20 days

Holiday Pay:

  • Time and a half for hours worked on Thanksgiving and Christmas
