$180,000-$200,000 + Excellent benefits

We are partnered with an MEP engineering and technology firm that is focused on bringing their client's visions to life and continuing their growth as a leading firm.

They are looking for an accomplished Mechanical Engineer who wants to influence a collaborative mechanical engineering team while continuously improving the technical quality and efficiency of the department. You'll be a leader across their unique projects across commercial, higher education, K-12 schools, multi-family residential, and healthcare sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an MEP, consulting engineering, or design-build environment who wants significant influence over a mechanical department and a chance to be a part of a strong working culture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the mechanical engineering department.
• Manage and mentor Mechanical Team Leaders and Senior Team Leaders.
• Provide technical leadership across mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Serve as the final authority for technical QA/QC.
• Oversee project staffing, workloads, schedules, and deliverables.
• Develop and improve engineering standards, processes, and technical resources.
• Support complex projects as the mechanical subject matter expert.
• Partner with firm leadership on hiring, training, and department growth.

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years of AEC experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Strong project management and QA/QC experience.
• Advanced Revit proficiency.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
