Music Therapist

The DMAN Foundation, Danny’s Miracle Angel Network, is dedicated to enriching the lives of families and individuals living with physical and mental disabilities. Through education, specialty programs, and fundraising efforts, the DMAN Foundation strives to ensure that people with quadriplegia and other severe disabilities have the opportunities to achieve the highest quality of life possible. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Therapist located in Southfield, MI. The Music Therapist will be responsible for using music therapy techniques to treat patients, create individualized treatment plans, support mental health, and work with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Daily tasks include leading therapeutic music sessions, documenting patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and participating in program development. Qualifications Skills in Music Therapy and Music Experience in Treatment and Mental Health Knowledge of working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) is preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr DMAN Foundation (Danny's Miracle Angel Network)
