Externship Highlights: As an extern, you’ll gain practical, real-world experience while working side‑by‑side with our veterinarians and staff in a supportive, high‑functioning environment. Your hands‑on training will include: Gathering patient histories and conducting physical exams Creating treatment and diagnostic plans Participating in dentistry, imaging, and lab work Observing and assisting in surgical procedures Medical management of patients Practicing client communication and team collaboration **You won’t be on the sidelines—**you’ll be learning by doing.
