Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shift position including days and evenings with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Call coverage required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 and Saturday-Sunday 0630-1900 and 1900-0630. Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed operating room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Diverse case mix including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant procedures
• Advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Xi Robotic System and comprehensive laparoscopic capabilities
• EPIC charting system in use
• Opportunity to work with interdisciplinary surgical teams in a high-acuity academic environment
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Xi Robotic System required (proficiency level 3 or 4)
• Liver Transplant experience required (proficiency level 3 or 4)
• Experience in at least one of the following service lines required: Neurosurgery OR Orthopedics
• Scrub capability required
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• EPIC experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Ophthalmology, ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns procedures
