Job Full Description

Job Title: Material Handler

Pay: Up to $19.00/hr

Schedule: 7pm-4pm M-F

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
Perform general material handling duties, including organizing and staging inventory
Assist with shipping and receiving , including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift

Qualifications

Previous forklift operation experience required
Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
