Human Resources Business Partner: Strategic Programs

The Human Resources Business Partner: Strategic Programs will support the HR Manager in executing key HR initiatives and department priorities. This onsite role in Austin, TX combines project leadership, research and analysis, operational coordination, and people management, including supervision of an HR Generalist. Role Summary This position helps drive HR initiatives from planning through completion by managing project workstreams, supporting program rollouts, and providing updates to HR leadership. The role also serves as an internal resource for employees and leaders regarding HR policies, programs, and established processes. In addition, it supervises an HR Generalist covering employee relations, workplace investigations, and other assigned responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Own assigned HR initiatives and projects from planning through implementation and completion. Create project plans, timelines, deliverables, and action items to keep HR priorities on track. Coordinate rollout of HR programs, policies, processes, and tools, including communication, training, and change management. Track project progress, surface risks, delays, and barriers, and provide regular status updates to HR leadership. Conduct research and gather information to analyze HR data supporting project work, reporting, and decision-making. Assess HR programs and processes and recommend improvements based on feedback, data, and business needs. Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, programs, and established processes. Support consistent HR practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflows, and documentation. Develop and maintain HR procedures, templates, resources, and process documentation. Partner with HR and business leaders to identify workforce needs and implement HR solutions. Manage, coach, and develop an HR Generalist supporting employee relations, investigations, and other HR responsibilities. Set expectations and priorities, monitor performance, and ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on time. Oversee employee relations matters and ensure significant issues, investigation findings, and potential risks are escalated appropriately. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience. Broad working knowledge across multiple areas of Human Resources. Proven experience managing HR projects, programs, or cross-functional initiatives. Experience supervising, coaching, or developing employees. Strong project management skills, including organizing work, managing timelines, and driving projects through completion. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to take an established priority or initiative, determine the work required, and independently manage execution.
