Entry Level Water Resources Engineer

Overview Entry Level Water Resources Engineer — Dewberry is seeking an entry level engineer to perform water resource work in our Richmond, VA office. The role includes creating concept-level designs of treatment works and analyzing hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for stormwater and watershed master planning, stream restoration, and water quality studies. Responsibilities Perform water resources tasks including concept-level design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and supporting watershed master planning and water quality studies. Collaborate with project teams to deliver quality engineering solutions on innovative and complex projects. Assist in preparing technical documents and presentations for clients and internal teams. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field is required Knowledge of floodplain delineation, stormwater management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design 0 – 1 year of experience; previous internship(s) preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office software Ability to work effectively in a team environment Additional Information Dont meet every single requirement? Depending on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
