Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianAre you mechanically inclined and passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of machinery? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining our donut manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our equipment, keeping our donut production running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.Analyze mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.Utilize your welding skills, including Mig, Tig, and Stick welding, to repair and fabricate parts as needed.Operate manual lathes, mills, and other equipment with precision to create custom parts, maintaining tight tolerances.Take charge of repairing a variety of industrial food-processing equipment, including compressors, boilers, refrigeration/heating and cooling systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, material conveying systems, and packaging equipment.Understand electrical components, read and interpret schematic drawings, and address electrical issues throughout the facility.Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety and food safety guidelines.Requirements:Qualifications (Physical, Mental, Experience, Education):Possess a minimum of three years of experience in maintenance, with a specialization in mechanical and electrical work on industrial equipment.Demonstrate the ability to manage your time effectively, handling both planned projects and unexpected breakdowns.Be physically capable of standing for extended periods (8 to 12 hours), lifting at least fifty (50) pounds, and maneuvering in confined spaces.Have a keen eye for evaluating operations in various conditions, including low-light and tight quarters.Be comfortable working in a range of temperatures and atmospheric conditions within our facility.Be proficient in computer use, basic math, and problem-solving.Excel at managing multiple activities and projects throughout the day.Benefits:Earned Weekly PTOWeekly PAY401(K)401(K) Company MatchCompany Paid HolidaysHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife and Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistant ProgramEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
