Allied / Tech - OT - Occupational Therapist
HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Level II Trauma Center) is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel position. The position is scheduled from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with 5 shifts per week for a total of 40 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 06/30/2026 and ending on 09/29/2026.
The hospital is located at 2020 59th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. The facility features a 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and a 383-bed acute care hospital with an average census of 240. There are 15 Occupational Therapists on staff, including full-time, part-time, and per diem staff.
The typical procedures performed include evaluation, treatment, discharge, team conferences, family training, and the use of adaptive devices and equipment. The unit requires flexibility, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning. Hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility experience is highly preferred, as well as stroke or neuro experience.
The hospital expects the traveler to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The position is fully filled with 2/2 positions.
