Position Summary

The Assembler-Finish is responsible for assembling components and systems used in the production of ambulances and specialty vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished components per work instructions
  • Install mechanical, electrical, and interior components
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy; correct defects as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety, quality, and production standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and quality personnel

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read work instructions and basic drawings
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

  • Ambulance, automotive, RV, or specialty vehicle manufacturing
  • Mechanical, electrical, or interior assembly experience
  • Experience in a lean or production-based environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Contingencies of Employment

  • Successful completion of a  background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical examination 
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to the position
