The Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist is a primary point of contact for current and prospective Body By Bariatrics patients. This position is responsible for providing an exceptional first impression, answering incoming calls, accurately triaging patient needs, helping prospective patients understand our services, converting qualified leads into scheduled consultations, and ensuring patients are connected with the appropriate team member.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
• Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative appointments and communicate instructions to patients
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copayments or deposits as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Manage office email and fax communications, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation
• Assist with administrative duties including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow
• Support overall office operations and perform other duties as assigned
• Strong attention to detail and overall computer/technology skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support a diverse patient population
