Step into an impactful role supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about fostering communication and language development in a school setting. You’ll deliver tailored speech and language services onsite, partnering with educators and families to ensure students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and valid IVP Clearance Card
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent credentials
- Eligible for or holding CCC-SLP; new graduates (CFY) are welcome
- Comfort working with pediatric populations, particularly K-8
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-8 students
- Conduct evaluations to identify communication needs and recommend intervention strategies
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support teachers and support staff in fostering an inclusive, communicative classroom environment
- Maintain thorough student records, progress notes, and required documentation
