Product Manager - AI Healthcare

In this role, you will lead the creation and scaling of innovative AI-driven products within healthcare software used by thousands of professionals across multiple countries. You will be responsible for defining and executing the vision for integrating artificial intelligence into core clinical workflows, with a strong focus on improving efficiency, reducing administrative burden, and enhancing patient care. Operating in a fast‑paced, remote‑first and highly collaborative environment, you will take ownership of early‑stage product development from concept to first user adoption at scale. This is a “0-to-1” role where you will shape new AI capabilities, validate ideas with users, and drive product‑market fit in a regulated healthcare context. You will work closely with engineering, clinical, and data teams, ensuring that AI solutions are both technically robust and clinically meaningful. Accountabilities Define and lead the AI product vision within clinical practice management systems, identifying high‑impact opportunities to improve healthcare workflows through intelligent automation. Drive the full product lifecycle for new AI features, from ideation and prototyping to validation, scaling, and achieving early product‑market fit with initial user bases. Translate complex AI and machine learning capabilities into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and data science teams. Establish and track product success metrics (OKRs/KPIs) including adoption rates, time savings, model performance, and user satisfaction. Prioritize product backlogs by balancing innovation, technical feasibility, regulatory constraints, and healthcare‑grade reliability requirements. Conduct in‑depth user research with healthcare professionals to understand real‑world workflows and ensure AI solutions address meaningful clinical needs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as GDPR, EU AI Act, and other relevant data privacy and safety standards. Act as an internal AI subject‑matter expert, guiding stakeholders and aligning cross‑functional teams on AI opportunities and limitations. Collaborate closely with engineering and clinical experts to ensure safe, accurate, and seamlessly integrated AI features within healthcare systems. Requirements 5+ years of product management experience in high‑growth SaaS environments, ideally with exposure to complex technical products. Proven track record of building and launching new products or leading successful 0‑to‑1 initiatives from concept to scale. Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions and evaluate feature performance. Deep understanding of user‑centered product development, including qualitative research, user interviews, and workflow analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders and clearly articulate product vision. Strong familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including LLMs, predictive systems, or AI‑assisted workflows (hands‑on experience is a strong advantage). Experience working in or with healthcare IT, MedTech, EHR systems, or clinical decision support tools is highly desirable. Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or EU AI Act in product development contexts is a plus. Ability to operate in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments with strong ownership and a builder mindset. Strong collaboration skills with experience working across engineering, clinical, and data teams in international settings.
