Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Dialysis Nurse for a dialysis unit in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing inpatient dialysis care within a specialized ICU dialysis setting. The position requires the ability to float across campuses and work scheduled call rotations during evenings and weekends. The nurse will deliver critical dialysis treatments to patients with acute kidney issues, including those on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, ensuring high standards of care aligned with facility protocols.

• Location: 1200 PLEASANT ST, Des Moines, IA 50309

• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimal call rotation; weekdays 1900-2200, Saturday 1900-0700, Sunday 0700-1900 or 1900-0600
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of dialysis experience including inpatient experience, experience with Fresenius hemodialysis machines and Peritoneal Dialysis preferred, active Iowa/IA license or multi-state compact license, BLS (AHA) certification, drivers license
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute dialysis experience highly preferred, experience reading measure system (telemetry), outpatient and inpatient dialysis experience advantageous
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) or ARC/Red Cross, active state licensure required
• Schedule: Call rotation; minimal, Monday through Friday evenings, weekends as specified
• Additional Information: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day holiday coverage may be required; must have 24 months of current dialysis experience, and a skills checklist specific to dialysis discipline.
• Submission Requirements: Work history demonstrating 24 months of dialysis experience, professional references from supervisors or managerial staff within the past 24 months, valid drivers license.
