Are you passionate about exceptional client care and holistic/integrative/rehabilitation veterinary medicine? Our busy practice is looking for another dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Assist veterinarians during appointments using low-stress patient handling techniques.
• Document medical information accurately and support client education.
• Provide patient treatments appropriate to your training, credentials, and demonstrated skills.
• Prepare prescriptions and patient-care supplies under veterinary direction.
• Support efficient and accurate client check-in and checkout.
• Coordinate with veterinarians, receptionists, and technical staff to keep appointments running smoothly.
• Clean and prepare examination rooms between appointments.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic.
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace.

What We’re Looking For

• Two or more years of previous veterinary experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong low-stress handling and patient-care skills.
• A genuine commitment to outstanding client service.
• A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
• Interest in holistic, integrative, or rehabilitation veterinary medicine.
• Ability to commute reliably to Glenmont, NY 12077.
