Set Up Technician – 12‑Hour Nights Buffalo Grove, IL | 600 Deerfield Pkwy Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Full‑Time | Hourly Pay: $50,000 – $55,000/year About the Company Join a global leader in drug delivery device manufacturing for pharmaceuticals, biotech, and generics. Position Overview The APU Setter is responsible for the startup, operation, and maintenance of molding and assembly equipment. Package and assemble components according to company and customer specifications, support process improvements, and maintain safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate injection molding and assembly equipment; load programs and align robotic systems Perform startup checks, color/material changes, and mold maintenance Conduct visual inspection of products to ensure quality standards Troubleshoot minor process issues; elevate as needed Perform TPM maintenance, line clearances, and cycle checklists Follow LOTO procedures for unsafe equipment Maintain a clean workspace and participate in Lean initiatives Support ISO, GMP, Health & Safety, and standard work procedures Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently Stand and walk 90% of the shift Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb Satisfy vision testing requirements Work Environment Clean manufacturing and warehouse environment Moderate noise levels Why You’ll Love It $50–55k/year for night shift work Hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art equipment Contribute to process improvements and Lean initiatives Work in a team‑focused, innovative environment Be part of a company impacting patients worldwide Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
