About the Position

Job Title: Polysomnographer Profession: PSG Tech Specialty: Sleep Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1+ years post registration preferably in an AASM accredited sleep center License: Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT), RRT-SDS, or CRT-SDS Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, RRT-SDS, or CRT-SDS) - Ability to work unsupervised Description: The role involves overseeing 2 in-lab sleep studies per shift, working 3 nights a week. The position requires the technician to manage the sleep studies independently. Candidates should be skilled in sleep medicine and demonstrate the ability to work alone. The patient ratio on the unit is 2:1. Black scrubs are the required dress code. The unit handles medical patients.
