Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist

Supporting the organization's compliance framework, the full-time Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist will manage regulatory adherence, policy governance, risk analysis, and monitoring of high-risk practices in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of laws affecting medical debt collection and translate regulatory requirements into operational controls Conduct risk assessments and lead remediation planning for high-risk processes across departments and partners Execute monitoring and auditing programs, documenting findings and ensuring audit-ready documentation Required Qualifications Associates degree, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience 3-5+ years in compliance, risk, or audit Knowledge of FDCPA, Regulation F, HIPAA, and state requirements is a plus Experience with Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint, and the FACS Collection system is also a plus Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
