What You'll Do
- Provide expert patient care utilizing the nursing process within regulatory standards
- Assess patient needs, deliver treatments, and monitor responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
- Supervise and delegate to licensed and ancillary team members
- Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and cultural sensitivity
- Educate patients and families on health management and procedures
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years' clinical nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Experience with telemetry or cardiac patient care
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and web-based applications
