Production Operator - 3rd Shift Overnight

Sparks Group; has partnered with a leading Powder Processing Solutions Company. We are hiring 6 dependable, detail-oriented Production Operators to support daily manufacturing operations in a specialty powder production environment for a morning shift from 8:30PM - 6:30AM . This position is ideal for someone who values workplace safety, enjoys hands-on work, and has experience operating industrial equipment in a fast-paced setting. You'll be responsible for helping maintain production flow, supporting equipment reliability, and ensuring products meet quality standards from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate, monitor, and adjust plant equipment to maintain efficient production processes.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate equipment or process issues to minimize downtime.
• Complete equipment setup, product changeovers, disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly as required.
• Support packaging operations by staging materials, loading product, and preparing completed goods for shipment.
• Handle raw materials through measuring, weighing, organizing, and staging for production use.
• Follow established SOPs, safety regulations, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures at all times.
• Perform routine quality checks and maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Assist with minor preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs using standard hand tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude or prior equipment troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when business needs require.
• Comfortable reading instructions, completing documentation, and communicating effectively in English.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background check, physical, employment verification, and hair follicle drug test.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts, including up to 12 hours.
• Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, and twisting throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying temperatures, dust, odors, and noise exposure.
• Must wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, protective clothing, hard hat, eye/ear protection, gloves, and respirator.
• Ability to pass respiratory fit testing.
