Role Overview RN Manager, Perioperative Services - Evenings oversees planning, coordination, and monitoring of evening operations across Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments. Responsible for staff management, budgeting, process improvements, and fostering physician relationships to ensure efficient surgical services and compliance with accreditation standards. Role Overview RN Manager, Perioperative Services - Evenings oversees planning, coordination, and monitoring of evening operations across Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments. Responsible for staff management, budgeting, process improvements, and fostering physician relationships to ensure efficient surgical services and compliance with accreditation standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise clinical and operational activities on a 24-hour basis, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance. Develop staffing plans, manage budgets, and lead process improvement initiatives. Ensure departmental readiness for surveys, adherence to safety and infection control standards, and proper equipment management. Lead staff development, performance appraisals, recruitment, and employee engagement programs. Monitor patient, staff, and provider satisfaction scores, and implement improvement strategies. Oversee departmental reporting, policy adherence, and survey readiness. Participate in committees, manage budgets, and ensure effective communication within teams. Stay updated on industry trends, support direct patient care when needed, and assume supervisory roles in absence. Qualifications Illinois-licensed RN with BLS certification; national nursing certification within 3 years. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
