Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Weekend coverage required (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon).

Job Description: The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit and may float to other units when necessary, including the Emergency Department. The role requires a strong background in both medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and monitor patient conditions in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient-centered care plans.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, while observing and documenting patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and interpret diagnostic tests to evaluate patient health status.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in patient care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores required.
